Mr, Jeffrey Goldberg holds a Bachelor Of Science degree from The College Of New Jersey with a focus and concentration in Industrial Engineering Technology. He has 29 years of relevant industry experience having held positions in global firms spanning consumer goods, medical devices, marine and automotive OEM, telecommunications and electronics. Toyota Production System trained (TPS) by Toyota Lean Leaders. He is also an accomplished trainer and coach as well as an effective speaker.
Most recently Mr. Goldberg was with with Remington Outdoor Company. Positions held have included Director Of Corporate Quality, Group Director Strategic Sourcing, Director Strategic Purchasing (Direct and Indirect materials, goods and services), Global Procurement Productivity Leader, Industrial Engineer, Materials Manager, Purchasing Manager. Mr. Goldberg has coupled his lean training (Lean Manufacturing and Lean Enterprise), strong practical and working knowledge of work methods and industrial processes with finance and Engineering in order to transform whole companies, procurement teams and supply chains into lean effective productive organizations. He has done this globally having worked in the USA, China, Taiwan, Germany, England, Mexico, Costa Rica and Switzerland. He was selected for the Operational Excellence Team and helped lead the lean transformation at Smith & Nephew, a $4+ Billion Dollar Global manufacturer of Medical Devices. He led the team that established the lean training materials, tools, program rollout, culture change and implementation. He has also led countless kaizen events focused on, Human Resources, Accounting and Finance Operations, new product launches, user needs development, supplier development, along with validation and verification of process capability and control. He helped lead and train a global procurement organization that based its supplier management and development on lean methods, tools and hoshin kanri deployment.
By utilizing and leveraging his lean training, Industrial Engineering and finance background, Mr. Goldberg has been able to deliver multi-millions in savings, productivity improvements and has had a very positive effect on EBITDA for the firms with which he has worked. Companies worked for include Alcatel-Lucent, Teleflex, Conmed, Smith & Nephew, Remington.
